Jaylene Jimenez,  LatinX Consultant; Financial Expert;  Instructional Program Consultant.

Fueled by a deep commitment to education, equity, and women's empowerment, I am a third-year Business Administration student at the University of Colorado Boulder, specializing in Finance and Accounting. As a first-generation Latina pursuing a career in a traditionally male-dominated industry, I am passionate about creating inclusive pathways for underserved communities—especially for women and girls striving to break generational barriers.

My work spans education, leadership, and community engagement. I teach English as a Second Language (ESL) at Front Range Community College, supporting Spanish-speaking adults in developing the language skills and confidence needed to thrive. I also serve on the mentor leadership team for the Diverse Scholars Program, where I guide students through academic, professional, and personal growth.

In addition, I spent a year facilitating Spanish-language entrepreneurship courses with the Latino Chamber of Commerce, helping aspiring small business owners—many of them women—gain the tools and resources to launch and scale their ventures. Whether I’m in the classroom, mentoring peers, or leading community-based initiatives, my purpose remains rooted in uplifting underrepresented voices, championing female empowerment, and building bridges to lasting opportunity.

Cecilia Jimenez Borrego,  LatinX Consultant; Diverse Business Consultant; Instructional Program Consultant.

My name is Cecilia Jimenez, and I’m a recent graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder, where I earned a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Business Analytics. As a first-generation college student and the oldest of four siblings, I’ve always been motivated to lead by example, work hard, and create opportunities not just for myself, but for those around me.

During college, I gained hands-on experience through internships with IBM, Intrado, and the St. Vrain Valley School District. These roles deepened my interest in the intersection of technology, data, and public service, allowing me to apply my skills in real-world settings while growing both personally and professionally.

I found community and support through CU Boulder’s Diverse Scholars Program and the EXCEL summer bridge program. These programs strengthened my confidence, nurtured my leadership skills, and inspired me to give back by mentoring other first-gen students navigating similar paths.
Now, I’m excited to begin the next chapter of my career in consulting combining my passion for technology, data, and business to help others succeed and to contribute to building more inclusive, equitable communities.
